I must have been one of the lucky ones most of the reviews say the battery sucks it last 5 minutes or 10 minutes or 15 minutes it breaks it's hard to put together yada yada mine was completely put together I just had to put the guard on the bottom with a Phillips head screw driver and the wheels just snap on for the edger but the height adjustment all you do is move a little clasp over and you can adjust it and push the clasp back in the middle I don't know how long mine charged I put it in the charger and went up to my room and fell asleep but the next day it was obviously fully charged I was eager to try it on a full charge and I did my complete yard and my yard is an acre and a half and I'm disabled I wobble when I walk so I don't do it as fast as a normal person wouldI mean all of the bricks around the house all 20 bushes alongside the driveway all the trees around the house Big trees I didn't edge yet but I will for the meantime I just weedeated all along the edges of the road around the yard and the driveway and the sidewalk I didn't even know there was a hose underneath all of the weeds that had grown so tall on the side of my house 😁. I Love Mine! I bought the wg-162 model and if you scroll down it says frequently bought together I bought the six pack of spools that came with it frequently bought together I only had to replace the spool One Time by the way that was kind of challenging as soon as I took the end from the clip that held it together it kind of shot out like a cannon and it took me a while to roll it back up to where I could put it through the circle in the guard before I could snap it on but other than that it's been perfect oh and automatic feed I don't have a button on my handle like all the videos show but there's a little teeny button on the very bottom that you push three times and it resets the automatic feed system and I did keep checking all the way through the cut but I didn't have to because it fed the spool automatically the whole entire timeDavid P.You can imagine how long it took me to do the weed eating it took me 3 hours to cut our grass that's because we have the Grass full of clovers that are just so incredibly thick from raining all the time it's just incredible it's been 75° here for 3 days in a row and some of them are still wet in areas and the mower cuts off clogged up I do the whole yard with a push mower in my condition it would normally take four men in fit condition to do our yard but they charge too much with rider mowers and power weed eaters etc when while I still can I can do it myselfI'm going to plus it's the only way I can still get outside I used to be able to do it in a snapoh and it's supposed to rain the next 3 days in a row so the clovers would be ridiculous by the time they ever dried out enough for me to cut it again

I’m a morning person and like to get my yard work done before the heat kicks in. With this electric mower, I can start at 7 AM without waking up the whole block. It sounds more like a large fan than a jet engine. Plus, no more smelling like exhaust fumes for the rest of the day. It’s clean, quiet, and surprisingly powerful even on thick grass.

This is my third word weedeater. They each lasted me at least three years, sometimes more. Lightweight and dependable. This was a great price on Black Friday.
Difficult to put together.
The line was not advancing. Checked the spool that came with the trimmer and the line wasn't smoothly wound; therefore, it would not advance. I rewound the line, but I still had a problem. The line itself seemed rather twisted, even when I rewound it; this was true on the 2nd spool that came with it. So I used my own .065 diameter line, and all was well. There is a definite difference in appearance. I will try to post a picture showing the difference in the line that comes with the trimmer and one I bought.
having used this trimmer now for a a couple of years, I am finally getting around towriting this review.I like almost everything about this trimmer - very lightweight, easy to use, decent power for small jobs, good battery life for small yards. I like the way line is replaced on this trimmer - not by winding line onto an existing spool, but replacing the entire spoolMy one big complaint (and reason for one star deduction) is with the durability of the line you must use with this trimmer. It is embarrassingly non-durable, resulting in need to constantly feed replacement line. Literally every 10 feet I am pushing the button to release more line. gets old very quickly!
I've found this edger/trimmer to be VERY well made, user friendly, and well worth the money. It cuts a beautiful edge using the wheels and automatic line feeder. Has multiple handle and rotating head positions and can be lengthened to suit one's height. Haven't used it as a trimmer yet but there's no doubt it will be just as good around foundations, bushes, etc. I first bought one of the units that came with the steel and plastic two blades plus a circular branch blade. When trying to edge it felt like I had a jack hammer in my hand it bounced around so bad. The unit was cheaply made, and I wouldn't want to use the round steel blade for cutting wood because of safety concerns. If you want to cut wood use a proper wood saw. In closing if you want a solid yard tool for edging and trimming, with a good long-lasting battery, buy this one. I'm 77 and I've owned a few in my days.

Best of its kind I've tried so farPowerful, reliable. A lot good to say.I was able to trim about 3000 square foot lot with less than a half string roll, this machine is a weed eater, easy fit, string thickness is powerful enough to cut some small grass plants.
Light weight. Works good. BUT the guard fell off the first time I used it. The screw was lost, so I can't put it back on. It flings grass (and rocks) all over my legs now. The line feed button is too far from the controls so I cannot use it. The trimmer must be on, which means the handle must be depressed at the same time the safety button is depressed, so I cannot reach the line feed button. It means all 3 must be depressed at the same time for the line feed to work. The spool holder (for an extra spool) is a waste. It is too loose so the extra spool falls out of the holder, and the holder is in the way. I just put an extra spool in my pocket.
